Global Affairs

An international experiences are encouraged as an important individual transformation,we strive to ensure that  all of our students grow in four fundamental skills: demand, independence, learning and responsibility.

Global Affairs is in charge of the international relations between UP and other Universities, as well as other cultural representations, embassies, educational associations and various  agencies devoted to the internationalization of education.  This department also coordinates academic agreements with more than 80 universities all over the world. These academic agreements include student and faculty exchange in European, South American, Canadian, American and Asian universities. We are striving to show the rest of the world our academic purpose  and Mexican culture, and we are open to share our experiences with them, , as well as to embrace other cultures and ways of thinking for the benefit of both institutions.

Among other tasks,  Global Affairs is also in charge of providing translation and proofreading services for the University and external clients. Additionally, along with the Language Center, it gives training and continuing education courses for faculty, regarding the English language and multicultural environments.

Mastering the English language and learning to work with multicultural partners are essential skills in today’s job market.
