The Institute for Legal Research (IIJ) of the Faculty of Law at Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara Campus was established in 2010 with the mission of carrying out scientific research in the field of Law.
Among its objectives are the following:
Perform legal research of the highest standard, with a humanist perspective , contributing scientific knowledge on the different legal disciplines that result in social benefit.Connect students of graduate and undergraduate programs to researchers in the field. Form Doctors of Law and researchers to provide vision and legal expertise in the legal task .Organize and disseminate legal knowledge through programs and events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, scientific and legal meetings .Coordinate the Pan-American System of Researchers (SPI ), similar to the National System of Researchers ( SNI) , with the aim of promoting research and access to that body.Promote in-house publications , in print media and online.Generate national and international agreements, for academic exchange programs for students , teachers, researchers and lawyers in general.Contribute to the academic reputation of the School of Law through all kinds of academic activities that create and disseminate legal knowledge , thus contributing to consolidating its social presence based on ethical values.
Values: The research is directed towards the construction of knowledge within the parameters of excellence, truthfulness, respect for dignity and ethics.
