Administration is not the same as Management.

The program of Administration and Business Management offers a novel teaching methodology  which involves not only data and abstract theories lectured in the classroom but also students facing real problems such as those met by senior managers who are leaders of enterprises. Under the leadership of prominent specialists and through business simulators, students analyze how to persuade and lead people with different perspectives, synthesize and give meaning to specific data, solve internal conflicts among coworkers, face difficult decisions with uncertain

information, and define and give priority to the objectives pursued by companies. At UP:

It is crucial to educate from an ethical perspective as in the hands of senior managers are decisions that can affect -- in a negative or positive way – the life and actions of communities and even countries.

 

There is a direct link with IPADE (Panamerican Institute of Top Business Management), the best business school in Latin America and the third best in the world; therefore, our program is unique and its good quality and methodology are guaranteed.

Primer semestre

  • Administración Empresarial

    Conceptos básicos de la Administración, importancia del estudio de la Administración y del proceso administrativo; se sumergirá en el ámbito empresarial. Así mismo se verá la evolución del pensamiento administrativo y la trascendencia de las mismas en el actuar de las empresas.

  • Control de la Información Financiera

    Introducción a la Contabilidad y a las Normas de Información Financiera, así como el conocimiento de las cuentas, registro contable de operaciones y elaboración de Estados Financieros (Estado de Resultados y Balance General). Introducción al análisis financiero de las empresas.

  • Tecnologías de Información
  • Fundamentos de Matemáticas
  • Historia de la Cultura
  • Redacción
  • Introducción al Derecho

Segundo semestre

  • Enfoques de la Administración

    Temas relevantes de la Cultura organizacional, ética y responsabilidad social, trabajo en equipo. Así mismo se tocarán puntos como el papel de las pequeñas empresas, emprendimiento y la importancia de las áreas funcionales (Finanzas, Mercadotecnia, Operaciones, Capital humano).
