Master's in Legal Sciences

Students will critically examine various aspects of the history of legal thought and philosophy of law to get useful proposals of different approches and apply them to the solution of current legal questions.

Class sessions take place on Fridays from 5 to 9 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

Perfil de ingreso

The program is geared to lawyers whose area of specialization is legal research in any of its branches.

Perfil de egreso

The participant will be able to analyze and criticize legal problems through the exercise of formal and material argumentation. He or she will locate major doctrinal, legislative, and legal sources to solve legal problems not only through the framework of the rules to the facts, but also through hermeneutical tools to understand their nature, relevance or irrelevance, causal succession and resistance to a logical and legal framework.

Opciones de titulación

To obtain the degree, it is necessary to present a professional exam in one of the following modalities:

 

  1. 1.  General knowledge of the material covered throughout the program
  2. 2.  Defense of a thesis on a topic related to the material covered throughout the program

 

Likewise, it is necessary to obtain a passing grade on each of the modules covered during the two years of the program.
