Master's in Taxes

The Master’s Program in Taxes consists of two specialist courses: Specialist in Taxes, and Specialist in International Taxes.

The Master’s program provides the conceptual and practical framework to analyze, interpret, evaluate, and apply knowledge and advise individual or corporate clients in fiscal, accounting, financial or legal matters, of either national or international scope.

Perfil de ingreso

The ideal candidate will:

Have a completed degree in Economic-Administrative Sciences, Accounting or Law.

Have basic knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business, Law.

Have work experience and interest in professional development in accounting for any kind of multinational companies, government agencies in charge of tax collection, independent consultants and professionals in taxation advice to individuals and corporations, in teaching area of fiscal matters.

Be able to work in teams, have people and decision-making skills. 

Have Numerical skills, and be able to use computer software specialized in tax matters.

Perfil de egreso

Upon completion of this program the participant will be able to:

 

Acquire the necessary tools and skills to develop and define sound fiscal planning in a legal environment.

Support planning in the core areas of individuals, legal entities, tax defense and social security contributions, among others.

Analyze models of agreements to avoid double taxation.

Implement the provisions of the agreements signed by Mexico to avoid double taxation.

Interpret all Mexican tax provisions concerning business relations with other countries and their tax implications.

Apply the tax provisions to other countries with which Mexico has close trade relations.

Analyze all foreign trade laws regarding taxes and customs duties.

Apply the rules of corporate law for the implementation of enterprise restructuring.

Implement the rules of free trade agreements signed by Mexico.

Interpret the methodology and application of transfer pricing.

 

Application of knowledge:

 

The Master’s in Taxes provides students with the necessary tools to handle the job in job positions related to national and international tax treatment.

Opciones de titulación

To obtain the Master’s degree in Project Evaluation and Administration, it is necessary to:

Pass 100% of the modules with a minimum grade of 8.

Develop or analyze a case based on one of the topics covered in the curriculum

Present and defend the case before a jury.

Pay all corresponding fees and obligations.

Have covered all tuition fees.

Have turned in all necessary documents.
