Master’s in Company Law

The Master of Company Law aims to transfer knowledge of legal and business through the case method, which consists in the analysis of real situations that allow participants to identify relevant legal issues and propose workable and successful solutions.

 

The program provides case studies of the academic areas of each of the stages of life of the company, allowing the participant to acquire the reasonable knowledge that lectures have forged through experience and the development of specific knowledge and decision-making skills.

Three indispensable requirements:

Degree in Law or in Economic-Administrative Sciences

Five years professional experience

Mastery of English

Perfil de egreso

The graduate will have the knowledge and skills required to understand and participate in the dynamics of a company, to take on fundamental challenges and to locate development opportunities in a regional, national, and international context.

The graduate will have knowledge of the different stages of a corporation, and the possibility that it be liquidated, merged or spun off, plus:

  • Socioeconomic and political concepts that affect the company.
  • Interpretation of various accounting aspects of the company.
  • Concepts in Ethics-figures of justice and equity.
  • Knowledge of (national and international) regulatory framework affecting businesses covering branches of public and private law.
  • Develop skills to identify and solve effectively and timely business legal disputes.
  • Without neglecting the values ​​of:
  • Leadership
  • Professionalism
  • Ethical and legal responsibility in addressing issues
  • Commitment, loyalty, and contribution to the common good.

Opciones de titulación

To obtain the degree, each participant will present a capstone project which will consist in the resolution of a case previously assigned by the academic authorities. The case will be presented and defended before a jury.
