ESDAI DAY 2018
ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; April 13, 2018- Yesterday, the school of Institution Management, ESDAI, celebrated its day with a series of conferences and a meal.
Friné Velázquez, director of ESDAI, welcomed participants and thanked the speakers for sharing their professional experiences. With regard to the students, she mentioned the qualities they develop through their studies, among them “Work well done, human touch, and a spirit of service”
Under the slogan "Transforming service", the students were invited to reflect on what it means to be ESDAI women and professionals. "We seek to transform the world by making it a more livable place, more hospitable and with the capacity to welcome others. I invite you to move forward and be successful professionals," Professor Velázquez said.
The first presentation was given by Juana Ramírez, founder and director of Soluciones Hospitalarias Integrales (SOHIN). During her talk, the speaker spoke of her career and some of the challenges she has faced as an entrepreneur.
The Colombian-born psychologist seeks, through her company, "to transform the model of care for patients with chronic degenerative diseases", such as cancer or multiple sclerosis. Her mission and passion have always been to transform the lives of patients through a model of personalized attention and human treatment.
Later, came the participation of Mercedes Palomar, who is an alumna of ESDAI, campus Mexico City. She is a founding partner and director of expansion and outreach of LADY MULTITASK.
In collaboration with her sister, she created this company to boost local commerce in an environment of trust. Her motto "friends of my friends are my friends" is one of her guidelines. She has dedicated herself to encouraging women to start their own businesses. During her participation, she offered a series of recommendations to the students and highlighted some of her success stories.
To finish the event, all the students were invited to participate in a convivial meal.
