Admissions procedure

Make an appointment to do your admissions exam

To set ut your interview and program your exam, get in touch with us at these numbers  (5233) 13 68 22 07 or (5233) 13 68 22 11. You can take the exam any day of the week, or on special exam dates.

Application for admission

Fill out the admissions form and turn it in at the office of Public Relations on the day of the test.

Pay for the exam

Together with the application, you will make a payment of $500 MXN at the office of Public Relations.

Take the exam

Do the exam on the appointed date. The exam you need to present is called  CENEVAL EXANI-II. It us in Spanish and it lasts between 3 and 4 hours.

Interview with the Admissions Coordinator

Once you take the exam, you will have an interview with the Admissions Coordinator where you can ask any questions you have about your field of studies. He or she will also explain the following steps in the admissions process.


Once you have done the exam and had the interview with the Admissions Coordinator, you will receive the results of the application. At that moment, you will know if you have been accepted to the university. Depending on when you take the exam, the results can take up to three weeks to arrive.

Scholarships and Financing

Once you have been admitted to the university, and carried out the registration process, you can start the process to apply for a scholarship or financing, if you require it.

The official exam dates for this year are:


May 2014 (Saturdays 17 and 31)

June 2014 (Saturdays 7, 14, 21 and 28)

July 2014 (Saturdays 5, 12, 19 and 26)

August 2014 (Saturdays 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30)

Costs, Scholarships, and Financing

Universidad Panamericana offers scholarships and financing to students with economic need.


  • Cultural: Given to students who participate in our representative groups in arts and culture: choir and theater.
  • Athletic: Given to students who participate in our representative teams in: basketball, soccer, and tennis.
  • Excellence: Granted to students with an excellent GPA from high school.
  • Family: Universidad Panamericana offers partial scholarships to students with siblings in the university:  2 siblings = 10%; 3 siblings= 15%; 4 siblings or more = 20%.
  • SEP: The Secretariat of Public Education offers scholarships for students with excellent high school grades.
