Jorge Manuel Aguirre Hernández received his J.D. degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Since 2015 he collaborates at the Law School of the Universidad Panamericana Campus Aguascalientes, where he serves as Secretary of Research. He is a member of SNI Level 1, being his lines of research Law and Poverty and Governance. He is the author of several articles and book chapters and of the books "La pobreza y su relación con el Sistema Jurídico Mexicano" (2016), "Dignidad Humana y Mínimo Vital: dos derechos de construcción jurisprudencial para combatir la pobreza" (2018), "El combate a la pobreza entre los derechos y los límites presupuestales" (2020) and "La constitucionalización de los programas sociales: ¿avance o retroceso?" (2021), edited by Editorial Tirant Lo Blanch. He has been a guest professor for research stays at the Universities of Navarra and Valencia.
