D. in Sociology from Michigan State University, and a B.A. in Communication from Anahuac University. She is currently a researcher at the School of Pedagogy at Universidad Panamericana, where she was also director of graduate studies. She is a member of the National System of Researchers, with publications on electronic and digital media and their importance in the lives of children, young people and in work organizations. She has been especially interested in the training of new researchers and higher education. She has directed 32 undergraduate, master's and doctoral theses, and together with Hernandez Samipieri and Fernandez Collado, she is the author of the book Research Methodology by McGraw-Hill Interamerican with six editions in Spanish and two in Portuguese.
