Professor Octavio Lozada Flores received his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2013 and 2017, respectively.
During his doctoral studies, he received a CONACYT scholarship for academic excellence, obtaining his doctorate with honors. He conducted postdoctoral research from 2018 to 2020 at the Institute for Materials Research, UNAM.
Since 2018, he has been working at the Universidad Panamericana Mexico, where he has been a Professor and Research Professor in the Faculty of Engineering.
He is currently Head of Postgraduate Studies. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers, level 1 (CONACYT).
He has published articles in scientific journals indexed in Scopus, such as Thermochimica Acta and Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, among others.
His research interests are in metallic glasses, crystallization kinetics, mechanical properties, and high-entropy alloys.
