Audiovisual Communications

A true communicator of our times uses the camera, the microphone, the world-wide web, and his or her voice to transmit creative ideas. He or she offers information and entertainment which are both useful and necessary to society. He or she crafts and cares for the image and prestige of an institution. He or she creates attractive brand concepts; but most importantly, he or she seeks the truth and commits to it.
The media, information and entertainment influence the world. A professional in Communications has a deep knowledge of reality. He/She knows how to communicate in a creative and attractive way, thanks to the knowledge and mastery of language and technologies.
The Bachelor’s program in Audiovisual Communication seeks to prepare professionals with a vocation for management and entrepreneurship within Communications, capable of innovating in Production and in the Expression of Content through the integration of audiovisual language and information technologies.

Graduates of the School of Communication will:
Improve Communication in all areas and build an image for organizations, companies, candidates, institutions and brands.
Develop high-quality content in highly specialized formats and translate them into different media.
Have critical thinking skills for qualitative and quantitative research, and analysis, interpretation and synthesis.
Manage media companies with strategic and international thinking.
Be capable of reducing the communication gap between the progress of science and technological advances.
