ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; August 18, 2022.- In order to achieve its vision of training graduates with a sense of social responsibility, the Social Commitment department of the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, carries out collaboration agreements with different organizations of society, including civil associations, government and/or private organizations in which Panamericana students perform their Social Work and Social Service in different projects that contribute to the construction of a better world.
Social training
Last Tuesday, August 9, 2022, the Annual Meeting of Institutions was held with the participation of around 40 Institutions with an agreement.
During the meeting, several activities were carried out. To start with the program, the Social Work Organization and general announcements were made. The August 2022 Institutions Fair was discussed, in which the projects that will take place in the August-November 2022 Block will be announced.
Likewise, awards were presented to the institutions with which we collaborated in the past blocks. Institutions that day by day collaborate in the formation of the university community.
The new institutions that will be part of this August 2022 were also welcomed.
Afterwards, the conference "Achieving Happiness" was presented by Génola Edith Borrego Jiménez, Panamericana alumni and coach.Panamericana alumni and coach.
The speaker mentioned some of the factors that must be taken into account to achieve happiness through good habits and personal balance. All this will contribute to personal wellbeing, wellbeing of those around us and therefore, wellbeing in the institutions they represent.
University Community Service Office
The Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara, through the department of Social Commitment, thanked the institutions for their support and collaboration with the university and its students.
Through Social Work and the different projects, students are provided with tools to contribute solutions to the different problems that affect our country and the world.
