Zapopan, Jalisco; January 23rd, 2023. Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara Campus and the International Affairs Department jointly received 48 students from Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Holland and Switzerland. This in order to fulfill the internationalization objective of the institution.
International experience
Through these efforts, the university community will have the opportunity to live intercultural experiences that will help their integral formation through which they will be able to interact, coexist and negotiate with people from different parts of the world.
For this semester, the students joining Panamericana come from 15 universities located in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Holland and Switzerland.
Foreign students
Phillipp Zachrau, a German student from CBS International Business School chose Mexico as his destination because "I want to get to know and enjoy the culture, learn even more Spanish, enjoy the good food, the weather and I hope to have a great semester".
Isaure Pasquier Desvignes, a French student from Claude Bernard University in Lyon 1, said she chose Mexico because "It is a wonderful country with a very different culture from France, very rich and the people are very friendly.
While Jesse Mantel, a Dutch student at HU University of Applied Sciences, chose Panamericana because "I want to learn Spanish, it's a very green campus and they have a great gym".
Among the universities to which international students belong are Albstadt-Sigmaringen University, University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, En Normandie Business School, SKEMA Business School, Haute École de Gestion Genève, among others.
For Panamericana, internationalization represents a very important axis, as it seeks to be a university with visibility abroad, and with powerful globalization dyes in research and teaching. To this end, making internationalization a necessity for each school or faculty, and a goal for students.
The University warmly welcomes the exchange students and hopes that the experience will enrich their academic and personal development as well as that of the students of the University community.
