Master’s program in Constitutional Law and Human Rights

Program aimed at civil servants, members of the judiciary, counsellors, trial lawyers and legal scholars interested in the analysis and theoretical - practical study of Constitutional Law and current trends affecting it, particularly in light of the constitutional reforms of 2011 as well as the effectiveness and protection Of Human Rights at the national and international level.


The program aims to generate sound and critical knowledge of Constitutional Law and Human Rights, through dialogue and debate, fostering improved perspective of legal knowledge in both subjects.


To achieve this purpose, the faculty has been integrated with the most renowned specialists, allowing us to offer the participant a high quality program in terms of analysis, approach and solution to the various problems that arise in contemporary reality in constitutional and human rights.


The program is officially recognized by the Secretariat of Public Education.

Mondays and Wednesday: 7:00 a 10:00pm

Second year:

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:00 a 10:00pm

In case of visiting professors from abroad:

Perfil de ingreso

  1. 1. Have a Bachelor’s degree in Law

    2. Have a GPA of 8.5/10 minimum in the Bachelor’s

    3. Have at least three years’ professional experience.


    4. Have and interview with the program director or coordinator

    5. Present your curriculum vitae.

    6. Pass the admissions exam

    5. Bring two letters of recommendation

Perfil de egreso

Upon completing the program, the graduate will:


Analyze Human Rights from a multidimensional perspective that includes the philosophical, historical and dogmatic aspects for a complete and inclusive understanding of them will be, thus avoiding partial and reductionist approaches that prevent their full understanding as legal and social phenomenon.

Understand the context of the development of international and regional law of Human Rights and regulatory standards, as well as their necessary communication with the Mexican system of Human Rights.

Meet the State's obligations towards individuals on Human Rights and the standards that should guide their activity.

Apply national and international protection techniques in Human Rights.

Produce legal scientific research in the field of international and constitutional law of Human Rights.

Opciones de titulación

To obtain the Master’s degree in Constitutional Law and Human Rights, the graduate will prepare an original thesis and defend it before a jury.
