Specialist course in Gastronomy
The Specialist in Gastronomy seeks to develop specialists with the knowledge, techniques, skills,and attitudes they need to prepare and preserve foods, with respect for the great cuisines of the world.
Upon completing the program, the specialist in Gastronomy will:
• Understand and develop basic techniques for the preparation and serving of food
• Differentiate cultures, ingredients and cooking methods for each type of cuisine
• Assist in planning and organizing the food service of an institution.
• Understand the needs of the guests, in order to give realistic and satisfying solutions.
Fridays 9am to 2pm
Saturdays 9am to 2pm
For either group, it is necessary to attend class the last Thursday of each month
