Specialist in Robotics and Automation

The Specialist in Robotics and Automation is capable of applying different technologies to address industry needs, through the application of cutting-edge engineering principles, involving sensorization, Automation, control and robotics in the design of intelligent mechatronic systems.
The knowledge acquired in this program will allow the participant to evaluate strategic and operational aspects to identify an optimal solution to technological- industrial problems. The participant can carry out professional work in advising, consulting, and research in the field of automation, metal-mechanics, or automotive, industrial, and mobile robotics, with a great sense of responsibility and seeking always a benefit to society.

Monday to Thursday from 6:30 to 10pm
Weekends
Fridays from 6 to 10pm
Saturdays from 9am to 2pm

Perfil de ingreso
The program is geared toward mechatronic, mechanic, industrial, electric, and electronic engineers or related fields (engineering, physics, or mathematics), interested in broadening their knowledge in analysis and design of modern robotics (open chain manipulators and parallel robots), automation, control, sensorization, and vision systems for the design and planning of applied robotic or automation projects in the fields of automation, metal-mechanics, consulting, services, automotive, industrial, or mobile robotics, and research.
Perfil de egreso
The participant will acquire knowledge of mechanics, electronics, sensor systems in automation and control, as well as robotics for the design of intelligent mechatronic systems. The participant will learn to use modern technologies applicable to designs, and will be able to assess manufacturing feasibility, using either conventional or cutting-edge methods.
The participant will also acquire ethics bases to create or use cutting-edge technologies responsibly and for the social good.
