ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; August 7, 2019.-


86 students from countries such as Germany, Austria, Belgium, and South Korea will be part of the community during this year.


As is tradition, the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara, together with the Department of International Affairs, welcomed the exchange students who will attend the 2020-1 semester on campus.


A total of 86 students from 31 institutions from different countries such as Germany, Austria, Belgium, Colombia, South Korea, Denmark, Spain, the United States, Finland, France, Holland, Italy, Japan, and Switzerland will study this course.


Thirty-one german students, sixteen from France and six from Denmark will be part of the student community, as well as eight students from different universities of our country such as the National Polytechnic Institute and La Salle Noroeste University.


The welcome began with a breakfast for all students and an introduction about the campus and its authorities.


During the event, the Captain Leoncio Monjarás, director of International Affairs, took the opportunity to welcome international students. For his part, Dr. Rafael Hernández Cázares, Academic Vice-Rector, invited them to take advantage of the time in the university to get to know Mexico, its culture and the different experiences that the UP can offer.



International students also gave their opinion about the opportunity to attend a new semester at the UP. Javier, who studies law at the University of Navarra, expressed his desire to take advantage of the academic opportunity offered by the university.


Joshua, who is studying Business and Security Analytics in Germany, shared his pleasure in being able to study subjects that complement his career. "I am very proud to have the opportunity to study at the most known university in Mexico," he said.



Sandrine, Hugo, Claude, and Lucas, all from France, commented that they chose Guadalajara for different reasons, including culture, the subjects offered by the UP, as well as the opportunity to learn English and Spanish.
