Podrá participar toda persona que presente un trabajo individual o grupal, de manera autónoma o en colaboración con instituciones o dependencias de carácter cultural o académico públicas y privadas. La convocatoria está abierta a la participación internacional únicamente para trabajos que hayan realizado una importante contribución a la divulgación científica en español al público en general entre el 1° de enero del 2018 y el 31 de enero del 2023.

Research Grants on Education: Large

The Large Research Grants on Education Program supports education research projects that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived, with budgets ranging from $125,000 to $500,000 for projects ranging from one to five years. We anticipate awarding grants with budgets across each of the following funding tiers -- $125,000 to 250,000; $250,001 to $375,000; and $375,001 to $500,000. Within each of our funding tiers, we evaluate projects within tier and strongly encourage applicants to submit for funding that best fits their project rather than applying for the highest amount. We accept Intent to Apply forms twice a year. This program is “field-initiated” in that proposal submissions are not in response to a specific request for a particular research topic, discipline, design, method, or location. Our goal for this program is to support rigorous, intellectually ambitious and technically sound research that is relevant to the most pressing questions and compelling opportunities in education.

The Research-Practice Partnership (RPP) Grants Program is intended to support education research projects that engage in collaborative and participatory partnerships with project budgets up to $400,000 and durations of up to three years. We accept Intent to Apply forms once a year in this program.
We view partnerships as an important approach to knowledge generation and the improvement of education, broadly construed. Over the long term, we anticipate that research conducted by RPPs will result in new insights into the processes, practices, and policies that improve education for learners, educators, families, communities, and institutions where learning and teaching happen (e.g., schools, universities, museums, other workplaces).

Fondo Regional para la Cooperación Triangular con socios de América Latina y el Caribe

Cooperaciones triangulares (CTr) son proyectos planificados, financiados y ejecutados conjuntamente entre
(I) un socio beneficiario que ha solicitado apoyo para hacer frente a un reto de desarrollo específico y que es un país en desarrollo según la lista de países del Comité de Ayuda al Desarrollo (CAD) de la OCDE,
(II) un socio principal que tenga experiencia relevante en su propio país para abordar el desafío, en un contexto similar al del país beneficiario, y que comparta sus recursos financieros, conocimientos y experiencia; y
(III) un socio de apoyo (facilitador) que sirve de enlace entre los otros dos socios y apoya la asociación financieramente y/o con conocimientos técnicos.

Event - The 2023 EU AgriResearch Conference

Building on the success of the 2016 and 2018 editions, participants will find out how research and innovation activities have benefitted the implementation of the common agricultural policy (CAP) and most importantly farmers, foresters and people living in rural areas. The conference will also be a great occasion to network with around 500 peers.
The European Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski will open the event. High-level speakers will discuss the global research and innovation agenda relating to farming, forestry and rural communities, and the role of research and innovation in making the European Green Deal a reality for Europe and beyond.

AL-INVEST Verde - Segunda Convocatoria

AL-INVEST Verde es un programa financiado por la Comisión Europea para promover el crecimiento sostenible y la creación de empleo en América Latina. Su objetivo es apoyar la transición hacia una economía baja en carbono, eficiente en recursos y más circular, para facilitar la implementación de modelos de producción sostenibles.
Cuenta con un presupuesto de 33 millones de euros y una duración de 48 meses: inició en diciembre de 2021 y culminará en noviembre de 2025.
En su desarrollo, el programa se divide en tres componentes que trabajan, respectivamente, con pequeñas empresas latinoamericanas, instituciones públicas de la región y la gestión de derechos de propiedad intelectual.

La Federación de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educación Superior (FIMPES) instituyó en 1998 el Premio a la Excelencia en la Práctica Educativa, hoy Premio FIMPES, con el objetivo de reconocer anualmente las aportaciones que estudiantes, investigadores, docentes y personal administrativo de las instituciones miembros de la Federación realizan en torno a la acreditación otorgada por FIMPES. Dichas aportaciones están relacionadas con el aprendizaje, la investigación, la administración y la gestión educativa, bajo la premisa de que estas aportaciones contribuyen directamente a la mejora de la Educación Superior de México y pueden ser implementadas en la Institución propuesta y transferibles si así lo requieren. Call for cooperation and mobility projects with Finnish higher education institutions

The programme is open to all higher education institutions in Finland and in the target regions and countries of the programme which are China, India, Russia, Southern Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America. The programme is open to all degree levels and disciplines.
The project involves at least one higher education institution from Finland and one higher education institution from an eligible target country. Finnish higher education institutions are encouraged to engage in national cooperation in their cooperation initiatives related to the TFK programme. The aim is to engage in cooperation with higher education institutions in eligible target countries that are strategically important to their Finnish partners. In addition to higher education institutions, projects can also involve other operators or organisations, such as companies or associations.

Following the priorities of the bi-regional dialogue between the European Union (EU) and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), and in the framework of the EU-CELAC Summit of Heads of State and Government in the second half of 2023, the EU-LAC Foundation invites academic institutions, study centres, civil society organisations, business and worker associations, or related networks based in a Member State of the Foundation to submit proposals for co-organising discussion events in the following priority areas:
- Food Security
- Energy transition
- Digital transformation
The eligible events are seminars, colloquia, conferences, panels, or round tables, in which experts, academics, officials, decision-makers, civil society actors and other interested parties from the EU and LAC regions discuss relevant issues for the bi-regional association in one of the priority areas. La Federación de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educación Superior (FIMPES) instituyó en 1998 el Premio a la Excelencia en la Práctica Educativa, hoy Premio FIMPES, con el objetivo de reconocer anualmente las aportaciones que estudiantes, investigadores, docentes y personal administrativo de las instituciones miembros de la Federación realizan en torno a la acreditación otorgada por FIMPES. Dichas aportaciones están relacionadas con el aprendizaje, la investigación, la administración y la gestión educativa, bajo la premisa de que estas aportaciones contribuyen directamente a la mejora de la Educación Superior de México y pueden ser implementadas en la Institución propuesta y transferibles si así lo requieren.The events should result in a product, such as a publication, communication and visibility resources, written interviews, videos, podcasts, or other products.
