Aguascalientes, Mexico, November 14, 2025 — With the aim of fostering academic collaboration and strengthening the scientific community, the School of Economic and Business Sciences at Universidad Panamericana (Aguascalientes campus) hosted the first edition of the Interdisciplinary Research Meeting 2025, an international conference that brought together researchers, academics, and specialists from Mexico, Spain, the United States, and Germany.
A Platform for Academic Dialogue and Cross-Campus Collaboration
Over the course of two days, the meeting established itself as a forum for analysis, reflection, and collaboration among researchers from the Aguascalientes, Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Santa Fe campuses, as well as IPADE Business School. The event encouraged the exchange of ideas, constructive feedback, and the development of international scientific networks.
The program featured a carefully designed academic agenda aimed at promoting critical discussion and the development of high-level research projects. It included an open workshop for all participants and three specialized working sessions, where research papers were presented and received feedback from internationally recognized invited chairs.
In addition, one of the main objectives of the event was to strengthen Universidad Panamericana’s academic community, promote cross-campus collaboration, and open participation to other national and international institutions—further positioning the university as a leader in high-impact research.
A Keynote Workshop Led by a Global Research Leader
One of the highlights of the event was the workshop delivered by Dr. Christian Tröster, Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Journal (a Q1-ranked journal and a global leader in the field of Management). During his session, he shared key strategies for developing high-quality academic articles and successfully publishing in top-tier scientific journals.
Additionally, the best conference papers were recognized with the opportunity to submit their work through a fast-track process to Scopus-indexed journals collaborating with the event, providing a valuable platform for the international dissemination of research conducted at the university.
The program also included networking and engagement spaces designed to encourage academic dialogue among participants. From feedback sessions within the working groups to informal breaks throughout the agenda, each moment contributed to strengthening collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
