Universidad Panamericana | School of Pedagogy Academic Offering Bachelor's Degree in Online Pedagogy

Bachelor in Pedagogy Online

In the Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy at the Open University we prepare education professionals with a human approach so that they actively participate in the creation of a better world through education.

We seek to provide students with the necessary tools to intervene in the educational reality in an ethical, humanising and innovative way. These enable them to diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate educational processes in specific contexts, taking into account individual differences and social needs, so that they can make decisions and propose solutions aimed at strengthening and improving the educational environment.

The student is also trained to undertake and manage projects and leadership groups, through interaction and negotiation with the different actors that make up the educational community.

The pedagogue who studies at Panamericana has a direct impact on society as he or she analyses current national and international educational policies in order to propose strategies in accordance with the real needs of our country.

"Studying pedagogy at the UP Open University was one of the most enriching experiences for my professional work and for me as a person, because it allowed me to see a broader picture of the issues involved in human behaviour.

KARINA GARCÍA GONZÁLEZ, GENERATION 2020, CDMX CAMPUS

"The experience I had of studying at Universidad Abierta was chaotic at first, I was full of fear of starting to study again, of the unknown and of stepping out of my comfort zone. With time, I was able to get used to it and organise my time.

Today, I am still learning many things, but above all, I am proud of myself because I know that I can achieve my work, school and personal goals.

I am 46 years old and I am in my 11th semester of online pedagogy (how long it takes: it depends on you, your effort, your time and the dedication you put into it).

SONIA ANET TORRES MORALES, STUDENT, CDMX CAMPUS

"I started studying Pedagogy in person at Universidad Panamericana, but due to economic and time issues because of my job I had to switch to the Open University.

My experience has been very pleasant and surprising, as they have the same quality and programme as in my face-to-face classes, with the great benefit that you adapt your study timetable, which allows you to work while you study and in economic terms it is very flexible, plus you decide how many subjects to put in per term, thus adapting to your academic study possibilities.

Yes, it is a system that requires commitment, responsibility and a lot of order in your schedule.

I personally have learned more in this modality, the classes are with working people, so they are always very enriching classes, given that everyone has a different job and different interests.

What I like the most is that the subjects and the teachers always try to reflect on and share the practical side of their subject in this very analysis and sharing.

I highly recommend the UP Open University, it is really conducive and cares about generating meaningful learning and has teachers and content of the highest academic quality.
