Undergraduate Programs

We train professionals capable of designing, planning, managing, and building spaces that promote a fulfilling way of life through a program that integrates the knowledge of architecture with learning about new technologies, public policies, sustainability, administration, and marketing.

Our curriculum is unique, based on the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology, which facilitates the development and coordination of multidisciplinary projects using 3D models. Our education is comprehensive, merging architecture with public policy, management, management skills, marketing, and new technologies. Our focus is on the areas of project development, construction, urban planning, and sustainability. In addition, we link with public and private partnerships for the management and development of different projects.

The objective is to become a referent in Mexico and internationally in producing artistic expressions characterized by profound respect for human beings and ethical work.

We train professionals:

• Creative in their fields of knowledge and work.
• Entrepreneurs in the business of art; who graduate knowing what and how they wish to work.
• Experts in new technologies and contemporary expressions of art, the essential features for artistic creation in the 21st century.
• People with a high sense of social responsibility and ethics: who work honestly, take care of details and produce high-quality artistic objects, for the good of others.

The School of Communications welcomed the first generation of the Communications Program in September 2000 with the aim of improving society through the evolution of information and entertainment in an ethical and transcendent sense.

With more than 20 years of experience and almost a thousand graduates, the School of Communications has become a benchmark among universities in Mexico, by training professionals who have the necessary tools to integrate positively and contribute to the professional world with their knowledge.

With the conviction that it is possible to lead a good life thanks to the efficient exercise of politics and economics, at Universidad Panamericana, we founded, in 2015, the School of Governance and Economics. Our school combines the Economics Program, founded in 1977, and the Governance Program, whose remote antecedent is our Master's Degree in Governance and Public Policy, founded in 2009.

With this itinerary, our school has more than a thousand graduates of the Economics Programs in over 40 years of existence. In addition, we have had an impact on politics with more than 500 graduates of the Master in Governance and Public Policy and with the first generation of graduates of the Governance Program.

Today our school, following the path with which we were created, promotes in all its programs the conviction of positive transformation of the environment to respond to national and international needs, while providing a solid ethical training focused on human values.

The School of Management of Institutions, (ESDAI), a pioneer in the Hospitality Industry in Mexico, was founded in 1969 by a group of businessmen from the Pan-American Institute of Top  (IPADE Business School), in response to the need to train professionals for the administration of services within the hospitality industry.

Founded in 1967, the Pedagogy Program at our school was a pioneer at Universidad Panamericana (UP). With over 50 years, we have trained more than 2,600 graduates, educational leaders who have a favorable impact on society thanks to their solid academic and human training, which has enabled them to face the series of challenges that the educational ecosystem presents.

Our aim is to train leaders who have a direct impact on the transformation of society in all areas and at all stages of a person's development.

The Faculty of Health Sciences opened its doors in 1996 with the Schools of Medicine and Nursing, with the aim of training highly qualified health professionals, with a specialized focus on research and social work.

In 2012, we incorporated the School of Psychology, the Interdisciplinary Bioethics Center (CIBUP), the Panamericana Health System (SIPASA), Vive Sano, the University Center for Health and Wellbeing (CUSAB), and the Clinical Psychology Unit into the Faculty.

The Law School of our university was founded in 1970 with the commitment to forge good students, who enhance the sense of their profession with ethics and integral vision based on the search for truth.

Over the course of five decades, our legacy has been characterized by the coexistence of tradition and innovation. Moreover, we continue to strive to be a faculty of national and international reference.

Our School of Philosophy was born 50 years ago, following the vision of the philosopher and businessman Carlos Llano Cifuentes, founder of Universidad Panamericana and IPADE. Through undergraduate and graduate programs, our aim is to train professionals with intellectual skills and a deep knowledge of the philosophical tradition, capable of humanizing their environment in the face of today's challenges.

The School of Engineering was founded in 1979 under the tutelage of IPADE, supported by a sector of business in our country, and the first generation of 30 students. We face this contemporary world, characterized by its dynamism and competitiveness, with a School in constant growth, which is characterized by the continuous update of its curricula, focused on training engineers with a business vision and solid ethical and professional values.

With more than 3,000 undergraduate graduates, UP engineers are in demand for positions in various fields such as industry, business, senior management, research, applied technology, health and social development, due to its prestige.

Vision: to be an inspirational faculty of global reference in engineering, technology and science, transforming lives, with graduates, alumni and students who, through entrepreneurship, leadership, ethical commitment and a Christian worldview, give back and have a positive impact on society.

At the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences our mission is to train ethical leaders in the economic and business sphere who influence the community with a global vision. Our vision is to be a Faculty of national reference with international impact in the field of business management due to its focus on ethics and academic excellence.

With more than 40 years of teaching experience, today the Faculty has six bachelor's degrees, one speciality programme and nine master's programmes that establish it as a leader in higher business education in Mexico, preparing students with the highest potential and managerial responsibility.

The Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE) collaborated with the Universidad Panamericana in the development of the curriculum for the Bachelor's degree in Business & Management.

Both conducted market research in order to see what employers expect from a graduate of this degree, as well as what is being taught in the best universities in the world where this degree is taught.

With this information, a state-of-the-art, dynamic curriculum was created, with electives in the seventh, eighth and ninth semesters.

The new Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Finance aims to give you a high specialisation in finance, with a strong quantitative foundation through statistics, mathematics, analysis and knowledge of data science to become a professional expert in Finance.

The ambitious programme that UP offers you is designed for:

Studying Gastronomic Business Management allows you to create new food products that can better satisfy the market.

The curriculum prepares you in the areas of food research, business plan development for culinary areas, consulting and auditing, as well as event organisation logistics.

The objective of the Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics at the Universidad Panamericana is to prepare leaders with a solid background in the field of mathematics through three terminal lines:

• - Mathematics
• - Data science
• - Computer

At the end of your degree, you will be able to use your knowledge of mathematical analysis of data to simulate and model statistical processes.

In addition, you will be able to find patterns of behaviour and establish trends and probabilities for solutions to complex problems in business, technology, government, production, mobility and other industries.

Our programme includes seminars, where you will develop leadership skills through teamwork, oral and written communication, as well as interaction with professionals and specialists from related and different fields.
