SCHOOL OF PHILOSOPHY

The School of Philosophy was founded 55 years ago with the goal of becoming a leading academic institution in the country. Since then, it has become one of the most renowned schools in Latin America and a community characterized by intense philosophical dialogue and a vibrant intellectual life.

Through our undergraduate and graduate programs, our goal is to educate students with the intellectual skills specific to the discipline and a deep understanding of the philosophical tradition, as well as to prepare professionals capable of bringing a human touch to their environment in the face of the challenges confronting today’s society.
