With the support of the School of Medicine and the Area of Humanities, Universidad Panamericana has developed an innovative curriculum to train professionals who are distinguished by solid scientific, anthropological and ethical foundations.

 

The curriculum of the School of Psychology, from the Universidad Panamericana, encourages interest in:

In the Syllabus you will find:

 

  • Solid neurobiological and scientific bases, which allow multidisciplinary diagnoses to be made.
  • 10 subjects focused on research.
  • Theoretical and practical subjects from the first semesters.
  • 4 specialisation options at the end of the degree: Clinical and Health Psychology, Neuropsychology, Educational Psychology and Organisational Psychology, to obtain a degree certificate and specialisation in just 5 years.
  • The opportunity to carry out clinical and research stays abroad (USA, Canada, Latin America, Spain).
  • Clinical intervention projects in public and private health institutions.
  • In addition to our own counselling clinic for therapeutic and educational purposes.

 

Areas of Expertise

 

  • Neuropsychology: This is the area in which the principles of neuroscience are applied to the study of human behaviour from a scientific point of view.
  • Educational: Aims to study human learning from childhood to old age, as well as its main characteristics, thereby providing solutions for the development of curricula, educational management, educational models and cognitive sciences in general.
  • Clinical and Health: This is the area in charge of investigating those factors that affect the mental health and adaptive behaviour of human beings through assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
  • Organisational: The study of human behaviour in the world of work, both at the individual and group level.
