"Hi, I'm Rocío Barrero and I think that in a world with so much information and technology, BI is a career that gives you the tools to make better decisions in our professional lives, as it is based on data analysis. BI is a career that is developing worldwide because companies have realised the value of having people who have the characteristics and knowledge that BI provides. BI at UP is not just about data but goes beyond that and takes into account the people behind the numbers.

"Hello, I'm Bernardo Camarena and first I want to thank Ceci and Liza for being in this space and sharing our ideas. Being in such a changing world and noticing that the evolution of technology is stronger and more significant for our lives, I decided to study Business Intelligence because it is the way to analyse the data and information that is generated by technology; for example, artificial intelligence and those decisions that are applied to companies and businesses in order to increase competitiveness and achieve decisions based on hard data and not so much on the beliefs of individuals, all these decisions based on human and ethical criteria so that it is something that contributes to society and not subtracts".

Bernardo Camarena

"Hi, I'm Andrea Espindola. I am currently part of the 1st generation of the Business Intelligence degree at Universidad Panamericana. A few months before entering the University I was not 100% sure of what I wanted to study, I knew what I liked and what areas but I could not decide between several careers and when this BI career was presented, it was undoubtedly the best option, the one that best suited what I wanted. I chose BI because, personally, it seems to me a career that perfectly combines areas, analysis and numerical subjects such as data analysis, but without leaving aside the human side, which I think is very important. BI adapts to the requirements that society needs and will need in the future. Studying this career will provide us with the necessary tools and will prepare us to face the society we belong to nowadays".
