Gastón L. Goñi Tascón is an industrial engineer who graduated from the Universidad Panamericana Mexico City Universidad Panamericana . He also holds a master’s degree in Information, Production, and Systems (Lean Manufacturing, Ergonomics, Time and Motion) from Waseda University in Japan.

Nationally, he has worked in various industries, including textiles at Ditex and Casa del Árbitro, tourism at Meza Tours, the automotive industry at Sanoh, teaching at Tomás Alva Edison School, and sales at Koga Commerce.
Currently
He is the Coordinator of the laboratories and workshops at the School of Engineering, a member of the Health and Safety Committee, and a full-time professor.
He teaches the following courses: Production Engineering, Production Planning and Control, Production Systems Design, Process Control, Quality Management, and Ergonomic Design.
He also teaches in the Graduate Studies Department for the Master’s in Value Chain and the Master’s in Manufacturing and Quality Management, and serves as an advisor for the Research Seminar at the Universidad Panamericana , Aguascalientes Universidad Panamericana .
Through the university’s Outreach Department, he has taught courses, certificate programs, seminars, and reengineering workshops at various companies, including Texas Instruments, Tenneco, Nissan, NTN Manufacturing, Minth, and Sanoh, among others.
