He has been a Fulbright-García Robles Fellow of the U.S. Department of State at Saint Louis University (1998) and the Catholic University of America (1999-2003), and of the General Direction of Academic Personnel Affairs (1994-1998) at the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
