María Guadalupe Martínez-Fisher

She holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a M.A. in Pedagogy from the Universidad Panamericana, where she graduated with honors. She has completed her doctoral studies at UAM Iztapalapa and FernUniversität (Hagen, Germany). Her research project dealt with Kantian philosophy of law. She was a DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship holder and has become the first student of the Humanities postgraduate program at UAM to obtain a double degree in philosophy.

She has published several articles on practical philosophy both in Mexico and abroad. She has been a professor in different national and international universities teaching subjects such as anthropology, ethics, sociology and social philosophy. Since 2014 she is a member of the Society of Kantian Studies in Spanish Language (SEKLE) and of the Steering Committee of the journal Open Insight (journal recognized by CONACyT). She has been Deputy Director of Research and Projects of the Instituto de Investigaciones Parlamentarias del Congreso de la CDMX, member of its Academic Council and Technical Secretary of its Board of Directors.
