Jesús Gómez Romero-Bórquez holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus. He currently serves as Director of Graduate Studies in the School of Engineering and Architecture, and is a professor and researcher at the Animation Academy. His work bridges academic research and professional practice in immersive technologies and interactive media, with an emphasis on electroencephalography, virtual reality, and mixed reality.

Hervin Fernández Aceves is a historian and medievalist, a postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad Panamericana , and a professor and researcher at El Colegio de Jalisco. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Leeds, a master’s degree in Comparative History and Interdisciplinary Medieval Studies from Central European University, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from UNAM.

His work focuses on medieval and Mediterranean history, with an interest in social and political structures, serfdom, prosopography, digital humanities, and network analysis applied to historical sources. He also connects the history of New Spain with its medieval legacy.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and the author of books and academic articles published by publishers such as Bloomsbury and Brill. He is also the editor-in-chief of the scholarly journals *Esfera Pública* and *Letras Históricas*.

Lucy Acedo studied philosophy at the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City campus, and earned her doctorate from the University of Navarra. She also earned a master’s degree in educational sciences at the University of Navarra’s Rome campus and began her studies toward a Licenza in Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. She recently earned her doctorate in Sacred Theology from that university.

He has several publications in Philosophy, Educational Sciences and Theology. He is especially interested in the relationship between Philosophy and Theology, and -within the latter- Sacramental Theology, as well as the educational lines of both sciences, how these supreme sciences can be taught, and how the unity of knowledge is achieved from any discipline.

Among his major publications are “Immanent Divine Activity,” in which he seeks to demonstrate the limits of human reason regarding God’s intelligence, based on St. Thomas Aquinas’s commentaries on Aristotle’s works. It is part of his doctoral dissertation in philosophy. And “Union with Christ in the Sacraments. St. Thomas’s Contribution in the *Contra Gentiles* to Sacramental Theology,” a complete dissertation published by the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and recently released as a book by Editorial NUN.
She has served on the Higher Council and the Rector’s Council of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross ( Universidad Panamericana), has been Chair of the Theology Department, and is currently a research professor at the Guadalajara campus of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross ( Universidad Panamericana). She leads the International Research Group on Leonardo Polo’s Contributions to Theology.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Government Accounting from the Guadalajara campus of the National School of Public Administration ( Universidad Panamericana ) in 2000 and 2011, respectively.
For 20 years, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily in accounting and finance, within the School of Business and other schools at this institution.
She has also ventured into the field of financial education and personal finance management, conducting workshops for students, faculty, and external organizations. Additionally, she actively participates in raising awareness of these topics through the media.
During her tenure as General Coordinator and Director of the Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, she served for three years as vice president of the Social Responsibility Committee at the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF).

Roberto Carlos Ramírez is an engineer with a multidisciplinary background in engineering, innovation, and the humanities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, a master’s degree in Innovation Business, and a Ph.D. in Applied Engineering from the University of Navarra (Spain).

His professional experience includes working with companies in the technology sector, as well as an outstanding academic career at the Universidad Panamericana , where he has served as a professor, researcher, and coordinator. He has received training in teaching and instructional methodology, and is a member of the National System of Researchers.

His interests include robotics, electronic systems, and the development of technological solutions with practical applications.

Professor and researcher Ramón Alejandro Briseño Martínez, a native of Juanacatlán, Jalisco, Mexico, holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from the University of Guadalajara (2024). He currently serves as a professor and researcher in the Department of Engineering at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, and is a member of the National System of Researchers (Level 1).

His main areas of research are urban mobility, health, and education, in which he applies artificial intelligence and data science techniques to analyze information and propose innovative solutions to social problems.

In addition, he has professional experience in areas such as computer networks, ERP systems, and software development (.NET, web, and mobile), as well as in project management using agile methodologies and cloud-based version control tools.

Pablo Ignacio Sahagún Kunhardt (Zapopan, Mexico, 1988) is a professor and researcher at
the Institute of Humanities at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus.
He holds a degree in civil engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany; he complemented his
education with studies in philosophy at the University of Navarra (Pamplona) and theology
at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome), where he also earned his doctorate
in philosophy.

His research focuses on phenomenology, the philosophy of the will, and
philosophical anthropology, with a particular interest in the work of Leonardo Polo and in the
dialogue between the phenomenological tradition and the philosophy of action. He has published in
various journals and publications, addressing topics such as cooperation, concausality, and
human nature. He is currently a member of the research group “Polo’s
Contribution to Theology,” as well as the “Causality and Freedom” group at the Inner Institute.
He also organizes the “Voices of Research” seminar at the Universidad
Panamericana, Guadalajara campus.

His publications include the book *Vertrauen – Erfolgsfaktor in Bauprojekten:
Eine Frage des Charakters* (AV Akademikerverlag, 2013), which focuses on trust in the
field of engineering projects, as well as the book *Cooperari sequitur co-esse* (2025), which
is part of EDUSC’s (Rome) *Human Flourishing* series. He has also published
the chapter “What Makes Us Human Is Shared Intentionality.” Michael
Tomasello, co-authored with Gonzalo Alonso-Bastarreche, in the book *Anthropological Conceptions
of the Leading Figures of the Neuroscientific Revolution*, edited by Juan
Arana and published by Tirant lo Blanch (2023).

In 2025, his articles “Human Being or Specimen of the Species?” will be published in *Studia
Poliana* (Pamplona) and “A Proposed Introduction to the Polian Approach to the Mental Limit” in *
Alpha* (Chile). The latter was written during a stay at the “de Nicola Center for Ethics
, and Culture” at the University of Notre Dame, USA.

Norman Aguilar Gallegos has held a Ph.D. since 2015 from the Center for Economic, Social, and Technological Research on Agroindustry and Global Agriculture (CIESTAAM) at the Autonomous University of Chapingo (UACh). In 2019, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. In 2023, he joined the Guadalajara campus of the National Institute of Technology ( Universidad Panamericana) as a full-time professor and researcher. Prior to that, he had been engaged in research and teaching since 2015; from 2020 to 2023, he served as a professor and researcher at CIESTAAM–UACh.

He has been a member of the SNII since 2015—then known as SECIHTI—starting as a Candidate and subsequently obtaining and renewing Level 1 certification within that system.

His main research topics are: social network analysis, the diffusion and adoption of innovations, innovation networks and systems, the evaluation of social programs, multivariate statistical analysis, social network formation sites, and, more recently, text mining and big data. Although his work has been most extensively developed in the agricultural sector, his in-depth study of Social Network Analysis has allowed him to venture into other areas, such as tourism, data science, social network formation analysis platforms, and business and organizational studies; but also in the study of scientific collaboration, the analysis of bibliometric data, and the digital footprint researchers create when engaging with various online platforms. Among his skills, he has excelled in handling and analyzing large amounts of data, as well as managing network data from social media.

This has been reflected in the publication of various indexed scientific articles, books, and book chapters. He has given lectures at national and international conferences.

Lucía Alejandra Rodríguez Aceves received her Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Strategy from EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2014, her Master’s in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2008, and her Bachelor’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2005.

She currently serves as an Assistant Research Professor at the School of Economics and Business at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus. She has served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Young and Family Enterprise (CYFE) at the University of Bergamo, Italy, and as a professor of entrepreneurship at Tecnológico de Monterrey for more than eight years, where she was also responsible for the regional report of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in Jalisco from 2015 to 2022.

He has more than 15 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels at institutions such as the Universidad Panamericana, the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the University of Bergamo, and the University of San Diego, where he has taught courses on entrepreneurship, innovation, family businesses, and management.

His research focuses on entrepreneurship, family businesses, and knowledge management, employing various methodologies such as regression analysis, SEM, SNA, and fsQCA to understand how to foster high-impact startups in university ecosystems. His work has been published in articles, book chapters, and reports focused on entrepreneurship, family businesses, and knowledge management, including in internationally indexed journals such as the *Journal of Knowledge Management*, the *Journal of Technology Transfer*, and the *European Business Review*, among others.

She has been a visiting professor at the University of San Diego and currently collaborates with the National Polytechnic Institute (UPIICSA). She has also served as a mentor in various entrepreneurship programs and is a co-founder of technology initiatives focused on science outreach.

Dr. Leticia Elizabeth Romero García
Level 1 National Researcher, SNII-SECIHTI. Full-time Research Professor at the University of the Pacific ( Universidad Panamericana), in the School of Economics and Business. Research interests include tourism, agriculture, sustainability, and technologies (smart cities and social media), applying approaches and methodologies from systems thinking, social network analysis, and bibliometrics. She has been the lead author and co-author of scientific articles and book chapters.
She has also served as co-director, primary advisor, and advisor for thesis and term paper projects for master’s and bachelor’s degree students. She reviews scientific articles for internationally and nationally indexed journals. She has participated in delivering talks and presentations at national and international events. Additionally, she has led the development of courses and symposia aimed at students.

Professor Edgardo Muñoz holds a Doctor of Law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Basel, Switzerland; a Master of Laws degree, high honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, United States; a Master of Laws degree from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom; a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico; and a degree in Law from the University of Lyon III, France. He holds Level 1 Researcher status in the National System of Researchers (CONACYT). Edgardo regularly publishes books and specialized articles in peer-reviewed and indexed journals.
