    José Antonio Marmolejo Saucedo

    Dr. José Antonio Marmolejo-Saucedo

    Research Professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana), Guadalajara Campus, and a Level 3 member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research with honors from UNAM. He served as a scientific consultant for Romway Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Zhejiang, China, where he implemented digital twin technology in modular smart factories for large-scale optimization.

    His research lies at the intersection of operations research, large-scale mathematical optimization, and emerging digital technologies. His current research areas are: Cognitive Federated Digital Twins for the Optimization and Autonomous Control of Large-Scale Systems, integrating LFM (Layer Foundation Models), deep reinforcement learning, and heuristics in distributed digital twin architectures; and Large-Scale Optimization in Digital Twins via QUBO formulations and Hybrid Quantum-Classical Solvers, leveraging quantum annealing to solve complex combinatorial problems embedded in digital simulation environments.

    His work integrates artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, IoT, discrete-event simulation, and Industry 4.0/5.0, with applications in logistics, manufacturing, energy, mobility, and supply chain systems. He actively collaborates with researchers from China, the U.S., the U.K., Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mexico, and has more than 200 research outputs, including indexed articles, books, book chapters, and international presentations.

  • Iván Emmanuel Dueñas García

    Iván Emmanuel Dueñas García

    He holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from CINVESTAV’s Guadalajara campus, specializing in electronic design. He graduated with a degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Guadalajara. He is currently a candidate member of the National System of Researchers.

    He has published articles in indexed scientific journals such as Elsevier and Taylor & Francis, as well as at international conferences, focusing on the following topics: DC motor control using programmable analog arrays, field-oriented control algorithms for induction motors, and power transformers. He has teaching experience at the undergraduate level, where he has taught courses in Differential Calculus, Statistics, Algorithms, and Algebra.

    He has experience with mathematical computer simulations, including mathematical modeling and electrical circuit simulation, as well as with programmable hardware tools such as FPGAs, DSPs, and FPAAs.

    Héctor Rubén Acevedo Parra

    Héctor Rubén Acevedo Parra is a full-time research professor at the Universidad Panamericana, where he earned his Doctor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He holds a specialization in Anthropology and Ethics, as well as a specialization in Teaching Competencies. He is a member of the SNII, and his research focuses on energy, polymers, and additive manufacturing; he has published works on these topics and holds a patent and a utility model granted by the IMPI.

  • Gloria Isabel Lizárraga Álvarez

    Gloria Isabel Lizárraga Álvarez

    Gloria Isabel Lizárraga Álvarez holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. She has completed her Ph.D. in Administrative Sciences and is currently in the process of obtaining her certification and degree.

    She serves as a university professor and Academic Director of Finance, contributing to academic coordination and the enhancement of educational quality in the field of finance.

    He has participated in research on educational innovation, notably through his collaboration on the study “Enhancing Learning of Accounting Principles Through Experiential Learning in a Board Game,” which focuses on the use of experiential learning to strengthen understanding of basic accounting principles through instructional tools.

    His academic interests focus on business strategies, particularly in the areas of strategic management, business competitiveness, and organizational leadership, with an emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises.

    Francisco Moreno Abril

    He is a professor and researcher at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara Campus, with a strong academic and professional background in the fields of engineering and construction. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience, instructing undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses in areas such as construction planning and control, project management, building systems, and physical systems modeling.


    He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering in Planning, along with graduate-level training in Construction Management, which has enabled him to develop a comprehensive perspective that combines academic rigor with professional practice. His research focuses on sustainability and the optimization of construction processes, highlighting his knowledge and application of international indicators such as the UI GreenMetric, which are designed to evaluate and improve the environmental performance of institutions and projects. He is a Candidate-level member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), a recognition that attests to the quality and relevance of his scientific work.


    Throughout his career, he has supervised more than 50 undergraduate and graduate theses, contributing to the development of highly specialized human capital. He also serves as Academic Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Construction and is actively involved as a project management consultant for major business groups.


    Professionally, he has more than 29 years of experience in the construction industry, having held management positions at leading companies and participated in large-scale projects in the industrial, healthcare, tourism, and infrastructure sectors. His profile combines technical expertise, management skills, and a clear focus on innovation and sustainability in the built environment.

  • Claudia Vega Michel

    Claudia Vega Michel

    Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis and Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Guadalajara; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from ITESO; specialization in Immunology at the Gould & Stephano Laboratory; specialization in Neurofeedback in the U.S. Postdoctoral fellowship from the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (SECIHTI): Decision-making and stress.

    Her career has focused on teaching, research, and private practice. She has served as a professor and thesis advisor at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, and has also edited two popular science books on the topic of self-care. She is a Level I member of the National System of Researchers (SNII).


    Behavioral therapist with over 20 years of experience treating behavioral, neurodevelopmental, and mental health issues; also provides training to schools, government agencies, and healthcare institutions.

    She is currently a research professor at the School of Education and Psychology at the Universidad Panamericana.

  • Arturo Jafet Rodríguez Muñoz

    Arturo Jafet Rodríguez Muñoz

    Jafet Rodríguez holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Universidad Panamericana, as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Tec de Monterrey. His research areas include human-computer interaction, serious games, and mixed reality. With more than 18 years of experience in industry and academia, he has led projects related to smart cities and autonomous vehicles that have been presented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and he has published numerous scientific articles in international conferences and journals of the IEEE and ACM. He has been an active member of this association and has served as co-founder and president of the national Computer Graphics chapter, as well as a speaker at numerous conferences and seminars in the United States, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, and Mexico.

    He has also served on the Board of Directors of IJALTI, as a mentor in programs run by Ciudad Creativa Digital and the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology, and as an Ambassador for Guadalajara on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism. In addition, he actively contributes to newspapers, radio, and television, particularly through a weekly segment on QuieroTV. He is currently a Research Professor (SNII Level C) and Dean of the School of Engineering and Architecture at the Universidad Panamericana , Guadalajara Campus.

    Alejandro Esteban Rodríguez Sánchez

    Dr. Alejandro E. Rodríguez-Sánchez is a Level I National Researcher (SNII) and holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with honors (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Guanajuato. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Cosserat Mechanics at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara Campus. He has a strong international academic and publishing record: he is a Professional Member of the Institute of Physics (MInstP) and serves on the Expert Panel for the journal Engineering Research Express.

    In the industrial sector, he served as Head of Technology Projects at GE Aerospace. His scholarly output includes the authorship of two specialized books and more than 50 publications in high-impact journals (JCR and Scopus) and at international conferences. He has led national and international research projects and supervises graduate theses focused on artificial intelligence applied to the mechanics of materials.

    Alejandra Nuñez Acosta

    Professor Alejandra Núñez Acosta received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Universidad Panamericana in 2024. She has been working at the Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara campus in the School of Economics and Business since 2011.

    She is a candidate-level member of the National System of Researchers (SNII). Her research focuses on the working conditions and performance of researchers at institutions of higher education.
