Dr. María Teresa earned a degree in Electronics and Digital Systems Engineering from Bonaterra University, graduating with honors for her thesis titled “Electronic Design of a Digital Pulse Oximeter.” She later earned a specialization in robotics from the National Institute of Technology ( Universidad Panamericana). She pursued a Master of Science degree, conducting research on microelectromechanical systems, and subsequently earned her Ph.D. with a dissertation on “Optimization of Mechanism Balancing Using Natural Coordinates,” graduating with honors.
She currently serves as Academic Secretary of the School of Engineering at the Universidad Panamericana (Aguascalientes campus), where she is responsible for ensuring the academic quality of all the school’s programs. She has previously served as Coordinator of Non-Regular Students, General Coordinator of the School of Engineering, Program Chair for Electronic and Digital Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Bioelectronic Engineering, and Secretary of Student Affairs at this same institution.
In the business field, she has worked as a project leader in Applied Engineering and as an independent consultant for private companies.
She has been a professor at the School of Engineering since 2021, where she has taught various subjects in the academies of Mathematics, Mechanics and Electronics.
His areas of research interest are: Instrumentation, automation, robotics and mechanism balancing.
