Susana Ochoa Torres

Susana A. Ochoa Torres holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance, a Master’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Philosophy, and a Ph.D. in Economic Development, with her dissertation focusing on the inclusion of women in the workforce. She is currently a professor classified as a researcher, Head of the Academy of Social Philosophy and the Division of Family Studies in the Department of Humanities at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, Jalisco, Mexico. She is a certified consultant in Social Responsibility by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and an international auditor for the SA 8000 Social Responsibility standard. She is a tenured professor of ethics and social and political philosophy, as well as Social Responsibility, at various higher education institutions across the country. In 2017, she won first place internationally at Harvard University’s Institute of Microeconomics for Competitiveness with Professor Michael Porter for a project on a higher education cluster in Russia.

She is a passionate advocate for person-centered feminism and serves as coordinator, member, and founder of the Interdisciplinary Group for Feminist Studies (GIEF). She is Chair of the Equity Committee at Levy Holding.

He has published scientific papers at various conferences and in the Q1 journal Heliyon.

She has published three books: *Social Leadership*, *Adolescence: A Guide from Parents to Parents*, and *A New Perspective on Social Commitment*; the first two are practically out of print.
She has been married for 32 years and is the mother of two daughters.
