School of Nursing

The School of Nursing has a unique curriculum in Latin America, focused on disorders and care by specialty. In addition to a holistic approach to patient care, developing the four areas of nursing (clinical, administration, policy, teaching and research).

 

With an emphasis on research and evidence-based nursing, the School of Nursing at Universidad Panamericana also has clinical and research facilities in the best health institutions in Mexico, as well as first level: high fidelity simulation center, operating rooms, amphitheater and laboratories.

 

The semester curriculum is reviewed and updated to adapt to ongoing health, bioethical and technological developments. Its main features are:

 

  • Clinical skills development with a focus on patient safety.
  • Integration of basic and clinical sciences from the first semester.
  • Ability to work in a team, which is learned during the theoretical part and during the multidisciplinary practices in the Simulation Center.
  • Practice in learning scenarios with graded clinical challenges at the Clinical Simulation Centre.
  • Clinical internships at hospital sites from the first semester.
  • Development of research projects.
