Master in Humanities and Professional Culture

This program is oriented towards the development and consolidation of professional and cultural projects, whose purpose is to have an impact on the improvement of the social environment.

 

The Master's program seeks to bring the humanities into dialogue with other fields of knowledge, exploring alternative solutions to life's problems, based on the methodological diversity implied by multidisciplinarity.

 

The program is designed for students to manifest behaviors, representative evidence and traits that translate the humanistic foundations into professional and social action, whose interest is to promote the dignity of the professional and the work environment in which he/she works.

Master's Degree in Humanities and Professional Culture

ENTRY PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, History, Literature, Pedagogy, Psychology, Psycho-pedagogy, Law, Arts or professionals (in any field of study) with 2 years of verifiable professional experience in the area of Social Sciences and Humanities.

GRADUATE PROFILE

Knowledge:

  • Knows the process of structuring a research project with which he/she is able to respond to professional projects within the work environment in which he/she works.
  • Identifies the anthropological and ethical foundations that support the dignity of the person in the development of their professional activity.
  • Employs the fundamental principles of humanism, employs arguments or alternative solutions to current cultural problems.

 

Skills:

  • It articulates humanistic projects highlighting dialogue and interdisciplinary discussion in its work proposal.
  • Communicates work results through different media (journals, congresses, books, etc.) presenting humanistic arguments that contribute to a plural and reasoned vision of current social problems.

 

Attitudes:

  • Continuous learning through the search for new information on topics of interest.
  • Intellectual openness to establish a dialogue between the sciences and the humanities.
  • Acting with a sense of ethics in professional areas and contributing to the common good and an attitude of service.
  • Valuing the humanities as a field that enriches the individual, the different fields of knowledge and society.

  • It bases the work projects on theoretical visions that allow delving into the complex reality of the problem and the professional reality.
  • Innovatively applies humanistic knowledge to the resolution of intervention projects in the professional environment.
