Specialist Course in Philosophical Anthropology

The Specialty in Philosophical Anthropology aims to reflect on the great questions of human beings, their nature, their inter-subjective relationships and their social and transcendent dimension. In addition, the purpose of this postgraduate program is to provide an ethical formation based on a unitary conception of the human being and a Christian vision of man and society. This intellectual journey is done through texts of the great thinkers of the West to promote argumentation and critical thinking in the search for truth.

The Specialty in Philosophical Anthropology will train professionals capable of interdisciplinary dialogue and to place their own professional work, and their own area of knowledge, from a philosophical approach with the intention of developing a solid academic preparation.

"I particularly enjoyed the course, as I have always liked the topics covered and have read and studied a lot about them, especially everything related to philosophy. Professionally, it helped me complement my vision of the issues (I am a lawyer) and, as a result, to broaden and give greater support to my legal criteria. In addition, it led me to get to meet the professors of the faculty, who in addition to being brilliant professors, are also great and talented people.

Carlos Ignacio Olin Bonilla, class of 2019 Mexico City campus.

"The graduate course has given me a broader perspective and a general, but very precise, understanding of the thought of great philosophers throughout history, which allows me to analyze, venture and revitalize the great questions of being, which are still valid today. As an academic, this is of great importance, given that in a world where access to technology abounds, it generates an influence that without the right guidance can confuse our students, so that this specialty, in addition to knowledge, renews the models of thought that make the intellectual exercise more vigorous".

Luis Orellana, class of 2019 Mexico City campus.

"The Specialist Course in Anthropology has given me solid arguments to support the education of the subjects I teach in a more complete way. It has given me the opportunity to socialize such knowledge with experts from other fields, who have enriched the academic dialogue around the topics covered in the specialization.
