Dr. Farid Andrés Tejeda Domínguez completed his master’s and doctoral studies in the Department of Cell Biology at the IPN’s Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV-IPN). Since 2018, he has been working at the School of Medicine as an Assistant Research Professor. In addition, he is a member of the National System of Researchers as a candidate nominated by CONACYT. He has published in Scopus-indexed scientific journals such as *Scientific Reports*, *Liver International*, *Seminars in Liver Disease*, *mBio*, and others. His research interests include the development of cell culture and animal models that allow us to study various liver diseases, as well as liver regeneration processes.
