Gabriela García Escobar holds a Ph.D. in International Law(magna cum laude) fromthe University of Geneva (Switzerland). She also holds a Master’s degree in International Law from theGraduate Institute of International and Development Studiesin Geneva, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Universidad Panamericana , Guadalajara Universidad Panamericana , with honors.

As part of her professional experience, Dr. García Escobar has served as a research assistant in the Department of International Law at the University of Geneva Law School. She has undertaken several research assignments with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the Permanent Mission of Mexico to the UN in Geneva, and the UN Human Rights Council.

Dr. [Name] is a member of theInternational Law Association and has published numerous articles in specialized journals such as theNordic Journal of Human Rights,Global Jurist, and theOxford Journal of Law and Religion. Her most recent work is the book*Plurality as the Core of Human Rights Universality*, published in New York by Peter Lang.
