Germán Scalzo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Austral University; a master’s degree in Organizational Governance and Culture; and an international Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Navarra. He has conducted research stays in the Netherlands, Italy, and the United States, served as a visiting professor at several foreign universities, and participated in international conferences in more than 20 countries.
He has received numerous honors, including a postdoctoral fellowship from the Carolina Foundation; five consecutive grants from the FFIUP as principal investigator; and first prize in the Global Prize for Ethics & Trust in Finance in Switzerland. He has authored approximately one hundred indexed interdisciplinary publications on the relationship between Christian humanism and personalist ethics, and their connection to economics and business.
He is currently a Tenured Professor (Level D) of professional ethics in the School of Economics and Business and has been a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (Level 1) since 2016.
