Professor Guillermo Sosa Gómez earned a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the Central University of Las Villas in Cuba and a doctorate in basic mathematics from the Center for Mathematical Research, A.C. (CIMAT) in Mexico.
Since 2019, he has been working at the University of Guadalajara ( Universidad Panamericana ) in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he has served as a Full Professor (C) in the School of Economics and Business.
He has published articles in scientific journals indexed in Scopus, such as *Mathematics*, *Entropy*, *Journal of Information Security and Applications*, *Heliyon*, *Discrete Mathematics*, *Algorithms and Applications*, *Theoretical Computer Science*, *Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience*, *IEEE Access*, and *Applied Sciences*. His areas of research interest include cryptography, information theory, metaheuristics, operations research, data science, and business intelligence.
