Professor Hugo Briseño Ramírez holds a PhD in Economic and Administrative Sciences from the University of Guadalajara; Master in Social Sciences from El Colegio de Sonora; Master in Valuation from the University of Guadalajara; Bachelor in Administration and Finance from Universidad Panamericana; and Specialist in Fintech from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles de Madrid. Level 1 member of the National System of Researchers.
He is Secretary of Research at the School of Economics and Business at Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara. He was head of the Finance Academy at the same institution. He worked as Coordinator at the Secretariat of Planning, Administration and Finance of Jalisco. His research interests are in quantitative methods applied to public policy analysis, urban water management and asset valuation. He performs consulting activities for companies. He is a member of the board of directors of IMEF Guadalajara.
