He received a Master of Science degree and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, with a specialization in telecommunications, from CINVESTAV-IPN in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2014 and 2019, respectively. He is currently a research professor at the Universidad Panamericana , Guadalajara campus. His research interests and areas of focus include signal and image processing, digital wireless communications, SISO and MIMO system design, channel estimation, linear/nonlinear data detection, wireless channel modeling and simulation, machine learning, neural networks, and ASIC design on FPGAs. He has articles indexed in the JCR and a patent granted by the IMPI.
