Ph.D. in Public Communication from the University of Navarra, Spain. Visiting professor and researcher at the College of Media & Communication, Texas Tech University, in the United States (2014–2015). She was a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico (2008–2016). She is the author and co-author of scholarly publications related to the media and telecommunications industry in Mexico. Member of the Scientific Council of the Revista de Comunicación at the University of Piura, Peru, and of the Editorial Board of the journal *The International Media Management* (Routledge). She holds a specialization in Anthropology and Ethics, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the Universidad Panamericana. She completed postdoctoral studies at the Institute for Media and Entertainment, now IESE, in New York. He is Mexico’s representative to the Digital News Report of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, based at the University of Oxford. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Media Management Academic Association. He was appointed President of the World Media Economics and Management Conference (WME&MC) for the 2025–2027 term, with the School of Communication at the Universidad Panamericana serving as the host institution in 2027.
She served as General Coordinator (2005–2009) and director of the School of Communication at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus (2009–2010). She is currently the head of the Academy of Administration and Economics.
