Mónica del Carmen Meza Mejía holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Navarra; a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Pan-American Institute of Senior Business Management (IPADE); and a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana). She serves as a Tenured Professor (Level “C”).

Since 1994, she has been a member of the faculty at the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana), Mexico City campus, where she has held various administrative positions within the School of Education. In 2015, she completed a research fellowship at the Mora Institute, working on the project “Industrial Schools in Mexico.”

She has participated in numerous research projects funded by the institutional grant “UP Research Promotion.” She is a full member of the Mexican Society for Comparative Education, the Mexican Council for Educational Research (COMIE), and the Latin American Association for Educational Research (ALIE).

Since 2015, he has been a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), with Level I recognition.
