Daniela Salgado Gutiérrez

Dr. Daniela Salgado Gutiérrez is an academic and researcher specializing in the theory and philosophy of education, moral education, character education, and citizenship education, as well as family and social pedagogy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, a master’s degree in Marriage and Family (2010), and a Ph.D. in Education with honors ( Cum Laude ) (2018) from the University of Navarra.

Since 2012, she has been a member of the Universidad Panamericana, where she currently serves as Director of Research in the School of Education and Psychology. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses such as Theory of Education and “The Family as an Educational Community,” and has participated in initiatives focused on character development, civic education, and strengthening educational leadership in school and family contexts.

Her academic work seeks to integrate theoretical foundations with pedagogical innovation, fostering the development of virtues, the formation of sound judgment, and educational leadership. She has spoken at TEDx Universidad Panamericana with the talk “How Much Does Your Sack Weigh?” and collaborates with educational communities and organizations interested in the holistic development of students, families, and teachers.
