Gabriel Domínguez holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the National Autonomous University of Guadalajara ( Universidad Panamericana), a master’s degree in Film Studies from the University of Guadalajara, and a Ph.D. in Media and Communication from Texas Tech University. He is a UCLA-certified screenwriter for both film and television. He specializes in Teaching Competencies, Anthropology, and Ethics. He has presented at various national and international conferences and has published articles and book chapters featuring textual analyses of audiovisual content. Finally, he has served as a university professor for more than 13 years, holding the positions of Head of the Audiovisual Academy and General Coordinator of Multimedia GDL, both at the Universidad Panamericana. He also served as Assistant Professor of Practice and Associate Director of the Thomas Jay Harris Institute for Hispanic and International Communication at Texas Tech University. He is currently the director of the Communication and Audiovisual Creation program at the Universidad Panamericana and a Level I member of CONAHcyt’s SNII.
