Dr. Jacobo José Brofman Epelbaum earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo” in 2007. He subsequently earned a Master’s degree in Neuropsychological Diagnosis and Rehabilitation from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in 2011 and, finally, a Doctorate in Behavioral Sciences with a specialization in Neuroscience from the University of Guadalajara in 2017.
He has been a full-time research professor at the National Institute of Technology and Higher Education ( Universidad Panamericana ) since June 2018. He has been a candidate for researcher status in the National System of Researchers (SNI) since 2022.
Her research focuses on the development of higher psychological functions from a neuroconstructivist perspective, both in normal development and in psychopathology. She has published articles in scientific journals indexed in Scopus, such as *The International Journal of Psychophysiology* and *Revista Psiquiátrica Biológica*.
