Dr. Alberto Ross holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the UP, a Master’s degree in Philosophy from UNAM, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Navarra and UNAM. He completed postdoctoral studies at the Centre Léon Robin (University of Paris IV–Sorbonne) and is a graduate of IPADE. Since 1999, he has been a professor in the School of Philosophy, the Institute of Humanities, and the Graduate Program in Law at UP. In 2021, he assumed the directorship of the Institute of Humanities and the presidency of the Latin American Association of Ancient Philosophy. During the 2021–22 academic year, he was a visiting scholar at the Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies and the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Ross is a Level 2 member of CONACYT’s SNI and the author of articles, book chapters, and specialized books in the field of Ancient Philosophy, including the monograph *God, Eternity, and Motion in Aristotle* and the volume *Time and Cosmology in Plato and the Platonic Tradition*, co-edited with D. Vázquez as part of Brill’s Plato Studies Series.
