Leonardo Ruiz Gómez holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Universidad Panamericana , and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Navarra (recipient of the 2014 Special Thesis Award).
He is currently a Research Professor, Dean of the School of Philosophy at the Universidad Panamericana , and a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI-II) of SECIHTI.
He is the author of the book *The Leibnizian Concept of Space: The Controversy with Clarke and Newtonianism* (EUNSA, 2014) and of various scholarly articles.
