Luz María Álvarez Villalobos

Research Assistant

Luz María Álvarez Villalobos holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in the History of Thought from the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City Campus, and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac. She is a professor and researcher at the Institute of Humanities at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara Campus, where she teaches philosophy and history courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

She was the founding coordinator of the Specialization in Anthropology and Ethics. She is a member of the Philosophical Association of Mexico and the Feminist Studies Research Group (GIEF).

He has published articles and book chapters and has served as a speaker at various national and international conferences. He occasionally contributes to the media (print, radio, and television) on topics related to his areas of research.

In his teaching practice, he incorporates textual and hermeneutic analysis, rigorous research, and philosophical reflection from a comprehensive humanistic perspective.
