Professor Omar Rojas received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from La Trobe University in 2009. During his doctoral studies, he received the EIPRS and LTUPRS scholarships from the Australian government in recognition of his academic performance.

Since 2011, he has been working at the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he has served as a Full Professor (Level D) and Director of the Doctoral Program in Business Sciences. He is a member of the SNI, Level 1.

In 2016, he received the “Manuel López Cotilla” Award for Academic-Industry Research Merit, as well as the award for best paper in Economics and Business Management at CLADEA. In 2021, he was a visiting researcher at Airlangga University in Indonesia. In 2022, he served as General Chair of the Engaged Management Scholarship Conference.

He has authored dozens of articles in scientific journals indexed in Scopus. He has supervised doctoral, master’s, and specialized degree theses, as well as business projects. His research interests lie in applied mathematics.
